 | CHRIS CLARK Soul Sounds (Debut 1968 US first press
12-track stereo LP, a fantastic & very scarce jazzy blue-eyed
soul album for Motown, housed in a pasted picture sleeve with
a deletion cut corner & catalogue inner. The sleeve [VG]
shows someminor ring wear & edge scuffing & the vinyl
grades VG+ with a few surface scuffs & minor signs of play.
The disc has been professionally cleaned & sounds fab, still
big on the Mod scene & once Motown's great white hope!

on the black & silver Tamla Motown label, a fantastic & very
scarce jazzy blue-eyed soul album. This example has a 'Factory
Sample' sticker attached to the Side 1 label, housed in a frontlaminated flipback picture sleeve with catalogue inner. The sleeve
displays just a little light general wear and has only light signs of
age to the mostly white non-laminated back. The labels are clear
with only a few light spindle marks whilstthe vinyl appears
barely played. Obviously a record that didn't get the play it so
vitally deserved, now for the benefit of one keen collector!

vinyl single, written and produced by Berry Gordy for one of Motown's
most underrated talents, also including I Love You. The original
4-prong centre is intact and has the release date of 12.1.68 printed on
it in black. Vinyl is in MINT condition - a wonderful example of a

a fantastic & very scarce jazzy blue-eyed soul album for
Tamla Motown, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with
catalogue inner. The sleeve has weakened over time, with
some laminatecreasing around the edges resulting in a few
paper splits that run horizontally off the spine. Otherwise
there is just some mild age yellowing at the back opening &
all text is legible, the colours look great. In stark contrast, the
vinyl appears NEAR MINT. Obviously a record that didn't get
the play it so vitally deserved, now for the benefit of one keen
