dark blue & silver London Atlantic label, the debut recording
from this mighty fine West Coast jazz group, front laminated
flipback picture sleeve. The delicate sleeve is Excellent with some
natural ageing to the laminate around the edges & the original
stereophonic bag is enclosed. The vinyl is clean & in Excellent
condition with just the odd faint paper scuff not affecting play

groove mono LP, a top quality Bop date in a Sonny Rollins-like
mould, with backing from the mysterious & greatly
under-recorded, Dupree Bolton, plus Elmo Hope on Piano, Herbie
Lewis on Bass & Frank Butler on Drums, beautiful fully laminated
flipback sleeve. The cover [VG+] has been historically tape
reinforced along the bottom flipback & side opening, common
practice for Jazz jackets of this vintage; the sleeve is nice & clean& would otherwise grade Excellent. The vinyl has a deep sheen
both sides & grades Excellent with only very minor evidence of
play. A recommended West Coast gem! LAE12269)
