| HOME SERVICE Alright Jack (Celebrated 1986 8-track LP
featuring an arrangement of six folk songs by Percy Grainger
along with three other traditional tunes and four songs by
John Tams. As a splinter group from The Albion Band, Home
Service were always going to have a stressed schedule,
appearing in Theatre Productions, as well as touring and
recording, with some of the members in three bands or more,
so the fact that they managed to produce something as
magical as this is testamentto their versatility. This was to be
the group's finest achievement, with founder member &
songwriter John Tams leaving for a solo career shortly
afterwards. Complete with the original lyric/narrative inner,
the sleeve on this copy shows some general shelfwear & the
vinyl is Excellent with little play - A nice copy of this fine
album HCM001)
