EDITION 50-track 3-disc CD box set - a fantastic and
comprehensive collection of material from the acclaimed jazz arranger,
most notably associated with Stan Kenton. On theses three discs are 6
studio albums: Annotations Of The Muses, Wide Range, Experiments In
Sound, a few from The Rites Of Diablo My Fair Lady-My Way and Aqui
Se Habla Espanol released between 1955 and 1966, all which were
made available for the first time through this set. Each disc is housed
in it's own individual picture sleeve, which in turn are housed an
INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED slipcase, complete with 24-page
colour booklet. These sets were limited to 5000 units, so don't miss
this fantastic rarity)

SINGERS The Rites Of Diablo (Wonderful 1958 UK 6-track
mono LP, an early foray into Afro-Jazz featuring Bantu
rhythms colliding with contemporary jazz stylings & starring
the likes of Seldon Powell on tenor sax & the legendary Sabu
Martinez on bongo action. The labels are rough textured with
a flat edge before the run-in & the record is housed in a great
Esquire-only laminated flipback picture sleeve with a vintage
shop sticker on theback, bottom left. This copy originates
from the private collection of a former staff member for
Dobells record shop in Charing Cross. The sleeve is Very Good
with some minor scuffing, faint age discolouring & just a little
peeling to the laminate, forgiveable with age. The vinyl is
super clean & grades Excellent with barely a hint of play)
