A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...

MAX ROMEO Reconstruction (One-off Test Pressing for the 1977 UK 10-track LP with plain white unannotated labels, the follow up to the hugely successful War Ina Babylon, produced & arranged by Mr Romeo himself. Features a crack squad ofreggae players - Boris Gardiner, Glen Dacosta, Ernest Ranglin, Earl Lindo... - cut at the legendary Harry J's. This is one of a few select handful made, purely to test the sonics & never sold to the general public, complete with the retail picture sleeve with a promo clipped edge. The cover shows just a little edge wear & the vinyl is near 'as new' MLPS9503)

Tracklisting: A1 Reconstruction 4:16 A2 Poor Man's Life 3:49 A3 Let's Live Together 3:40 A4 Melt Away 3:53 A5 War Rock 4:40 B1 Where Is The Love 3:00 B2 Give To Get 3:22 B3 Martin Luther King 3:26 B4 Take A Hold 3:27 B5 Destination Africa 3:13
MAX ROMEO No Joshua No (1973 UK 7" vinyl single with intact four prong centre, also featuring Instrumental Version, produced by Pete Weston, Dragon company die cut paper sleeve. The vinyl on this copy remains in EX-/EX condition with just a few light surface scuffs to show for its forty years DRA1028)
MAX ROMEO Chase The Devil (Rare classic 1976 UK 7" vinyl single with an intact four prong centre. In 1992 The Prodigy used a sample of this track in their song Out of Space; also including Croaking Lizard by THE UPSETTERS featuring PRINCE JAZZBO, both tracks produced by Lee Perry, Island company die cut paper sleeve WIP6330)

Tracklisting: Chase The Devil - Max Romeo Croaking Lizard - The Upsetters featuring Prince Jazzbo
MAX ROMEO A Dream (Lovely, just lovely 1969 first UK issue 11-track stereo LP on the iconic dark blue & silver Pama label, opening with the rude[boy] classic, Wet Dream, the label's biggest selling record, famously banned by the BBC, even thoughit was only about a leaky roof [honest]. The front laminated sleeve has a small split to the top and bottom edge, a little laminate rippling, some discolouration to the reverse and a hand-written name - it still holds up well though with all text legible, secure flip-backs and clear text on the spine. The vinyl is clean & plays very well [despite some visible hairlines in places and spindle wear] with just a little light surface noise in places. A very respectable VG/VG+ copy of this Pama must have PMLP-11)

Tracklisting: A1 Wet Dream A2 A No Fe Me Piccn'y A3 Far Far Away A4 The Horn A5 Hear My Plea A6 Love B1 I Don't Want To Lose Your Love B2 Wood Under Cellar B3 Wine Her Goosie B4 Club Raid B5 You Can't Stop Me
MAX ROMEO Wet Dream (Classic 1968 UK 7" vinyl single on Pama's Unity label with the intact four prong centre, also including She's But A Little Girl, plain die-cut paper sleeve. The vinyl still plays great & would realistically be graded VG. Nowa nice collector's piece! UN503)
