8-track stereo LP with stock labels, Gibbs' debut as band
leader, with song dedications to John Dankworth, Stan Getz &
Gary Burton. The collective personnel includes Kenny
Wheeler, Chris Spedding, Jack Bruce, John Surman, Alan
Skidmore, Mike Osborne & Tony Oxley - Gibbs' orchestra
served an important service as stepping stone for each one of
these revered musicians. The picture sleeve has a large
'promotional copy' sticker attached, for review ahead of
release & is complete with the catalogue inner. The sleeve
[VG+] shows just a little minor scuffing or corner creasing &
the vinyl grades VG+/EX- with light cosmetic wear not
interfering with play DES18048)

the country's forward thinking jazz musicians at the same
time; Kenny Wheeler, Henry Lowther, Harry Beckett, John
Surman, Alan Skidmore, Frank Ricotti, Chris Spedding, Gordon
Beck & more. The front laminated sleeve has eyepopping
artwork & grades Excellent, showing some minor creasing
from ring wear. The vinyl grades EX/EX- & reveals only a
little light cosmetic reaction to the poly inner bag over time. A
nice if not mint example SML1087)
