A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...

PENGUIN CAFE ORCHESTRA Music From The Penguin Café (1987 UK 10-track vinyl LP. This is the debut album by the collective led by Simon Jeffes with co-founder Helen Liebmann, legend has it that Jeffes dreamed the concept of the 'Penguin Cafe' and the music that played there, in reality bored with the limitations of the classical world and the constraints of the rock world the pair set out to do something different - this wonderful mix of naive classicalisms, world music, folk and ambience was the result - essential. The picture sleeve has some edge and ringwear and the vinyl looks seldom played EGED27)
