Pressing for Side A of the 1968 UK stereo LP, featuring
the first six tracks including the title hit. Sun Dragon was a
project created by the British Pop-Psych songwriting team of
Rob Freeman & Ian McLintock (formerly of The Others &
Sands). The album was produced by Derek Lawrence of Deep
Purple fame, who recruited Ritchie Blackmore on lead guitar,
Ian Paice on drums & Jon Lord on keyboards! The labels are
plain white with arubber stamped 'stereo' marking & the
artist & album title one side. The matrix in the run out is
machine stamped "2YMG 273-1G". Although this is only the
first side of the record, it was never intended for sale to the
general public. It is a unique one-off purely made to test the
sonics before any type of official release. The vinyl is
