A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...
| THE ACCENT Red Sky At Night (Very rare and in demand original
1967 UK promotional 2-track 7'' single, produced by Mike Vernon and
backed with Wind Of Change, both The Accent originals. The label is a
curved Decca logo with 'Sample Not For Sale' and 'A' demonstration
print plus 4-prong push-out centre intact. Complete with its original
die-cut stripey-orange company sleeve in immaculate condition. Both
sides of the label are pristine with no spindle wear. The vinyl is in
beautiful MINT condition with not a blemish in sight, and has
even been carefully play graded just to make sure. Crystal clear sound
quality - you won't find a better one! F12679)
Tracklisting: The Accent's one and only bid for stardom! Perhaps they were too ahead of the game or seen as just another sixties psych group at the time, whatever the reasons 'Red Sky At Night' failed to chart or cause any real impact upon release. That is until it picked up on the collectors' scene years later, appearing on one of the legendary Chocolate Soup For Diabetics compilations of rare British psychedelia that fell by the wayside. Now big in demand, this has only got better with age and actually sounds a million times better than most of the singles that did chart the week it was released!
Delirious drug-induced pop music of the highest order
