THE DESPERATE BICYCLES Occupied Territory (Rare 1978 UK Refill Records 7" single by the Dalston DIY legends, with each 45 financing the next. Also features Skill, housed in a paper picture sleeve. The delicate sleeve shows some light edgewearandminor storage marks, whilst the vinyl shows only the lightest signs of play RR4)
THE DESPERATE BICYCLES The Medium Was Tedium (Rare 1977 UK 7" single, a cult DIY classic with the memorable line "it was easy, it was cheap – go and do it!" a massive wake-up call, kickstarting the whole of the do-it-yourself indie trend in Britain. Also features Don't Back The Front - plays the same two tracks on both sides for maximum cost-saving effect. The thin & light picture sleeve [VG] has a small tear at the top of the left side seam, plus some general edgewear and a littlediscolouration. The vinyl has a few light surface scuffs and a little spindle wear, but remains in excellent condition RR2)
THE DESPERATE BICYCLES Remorse Code (Rare 1979 UK 10-track vinyl LP, the sole longplayer from the short-lived art punks who famously published every cost involved with making their debut '45 [so you could do the same], it's a wonderful lo-fi/D.I.Y. affair that compares favourably with Swell Maps, Televsion Personalities, glossy picture sleeve. The sleeve is in its opened price-stickered shrinkwrap and the vinyl is Near Mint RR6)
