A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...
| THE IVEYS Maybe Tomorrow (Rare original 1969 German issue Apple
label 12-track vinyl LP, with the catalogue number 1C062-90150. This
album is highly sought after by collectors as the UK release was
withdrawn prior to it's July 1969 release date, and was only issued in
parts of Europe and Japan. Complete with original near
MINT condition front laminated picture sleeve and promo
sample 'Unverkäufliche Musterplatte' sticker on the B-side label) **See 'More Info' for further details on this stunning rarity**
Tracklisting: 1. See-Saw, Granpa
2. Beautiful And Blue
3. Dear Angie
4. Think About The Good Times
5. Yesterday Ain't Coming Back
6. Fisherman
7. Maybe Tomorrow
8. Sali Bloo
9. Angelique
10. I'm In Love
11. They're Knocking Down Our Home
12. I've Been Waiting
This album is legendary for many reasons, it was originally scheduled for release on 4th July 1969, however the UK release was withdrawn along with SAPCOR 7 which was going to be the Delaney & Bonnie album until released on Elektra/Atlantic then the catalogue number was reassigned to the Trash LP, this too was withdrawn. The band then changed their name to Badfinger and after recording a McCartney demo and other songs for the Magic Christian Music soundtrack enjoyed limited success.
The labels are Apple labels and feature the regular sliced and unsliced side with an 'Unverkäufliche Musterplatte' sticker on the second side. Both the 1C062-90150 and SAPCOR 8 catalogue numbers feature on the labels. There are NO spindle marks around the centre hole indicating very little, if any play.
The matrix numbers have been machine stamped into the dead vinyl. They are as follows:
Side One 90150 A-1
Side Two 90150 B-1
The vinyl is in fabulous condition which is staggering considering it is nearly forty years old. The dead vinyl between tracks is silent and plays without ANY crackle and hiss indicating almost no play. This landmark record is made even more rare by the presence of the original 'Unverkäufliche Musterplatte sample sticker which was only used on copies used for promotional purposes, which makes the overall condition even more surprising.
Housed in a superb front laminated picture sleeve with Apple logo and B1C062-90150 catalogue number on the front plus brief biography on the back. The condition of the sleeve is quite simply superb with just two miniscule staple marks at the sleeve opening, however with no lift, creasing or indentations present it has clearly been protected and loved by an avid collector and it doesn't spoil the overall beauty of the piece. You are NEVER likely to see a copy in such overall fantastic condition and we are delighted to offer this item for sale.
An essential item for collectors of Beatles, Badfinger and Apple! | | THE IVEYS Maybe Tomorrow (Incredibly rare original 1969 Japanese
12-track stereo LP pressed on Everclean Wine Red Vinyl by Toshiba, complete
with fold out Japanese/lyric insert, die-cut jet black inner & picture
sleeve. This album is highly sought after as the UK issue was
withdrawn prior to its July 1969 release & only saw release in parts of
Europe & Japan. AP-8719) See 'More Info' ...

The number was reassigned to the Trash LP, but this too was withdrawn. The matrix numbers have been machine stamped into the 'dead wax' area:
Side One SAPCOR-8A
Side Two SAPCOR-8B
The labels are the familiar Apple design with regular sliced and unsliced sides and 'Mfd. By Toshiba Musical Industries' text. Both the AP-8719 and SAPCOR 8 catalogue numbers are printed on the labels. There is a just little faint spindle wear to one side, indicating light signs of play.
The pasted picture sleeve has the Apple logo, AP-8719 catalogue number and stereo symbol printed on the front with a brief biography by Derek Taylor on the reverse. Some light edge wear is evident, including two small half inch paper splits at the openings, which is minimal. All text remains legible, & despite some light foxing on the back, the colours remain rich & vivid & the condition remains very respectable.
The jet black inner is present & remains crisp & untorn & the fold out Japanese/lyric insert shows minimal wear with age. It features a black and white photo of the band, tracklisting, Japanese text biography, notes on the recordings & English lyrics. It is free from writing, rips or tears.
Essential for collectors of Beatles, Badfinger and Apple, this is becoming almost impossible to find. The red vinyl appears clean with just the very lightest evidence of play, mostly on the labels. Extremely nice condition, indeed! | | THE IVEYS Maybe Tomorrow (1992 UK 16-track double vinyl
