A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...
| THE SANDS Mrs. Gillespie's Refrigerator (Very rare
freakbeat/mod 1967 UK 7" vinyl single on Reaction, with
circular three-prong centre intact. Features a brilliant Barry &
Robin Gibb cover that was supposedly produced by Bee Gees
manager, Robert Stigwood. The short-lived band were taken
under Brian Epstein's wing & this record was one of the first
to be administered by The Beatles' own Apple publishing
company. The b-side 'Listen To The Sky' is a perfect
psychedelic nugget, compedmany times over, & there is clear
'Apple Pub. Co' text printed on the label for that side. Housed
in its original plain company die-cut sleeve, this is a one
previous owner copy, stored from new since day of release.
There is even a brief review clipping taped to the sleeve [one
of the few this record received]! A perfect rarity for the
sixties psych collector, Barry & Robin Gibb fans or even the
Apple completist!) | | THE SANDS Mrs. Gillespie's Refrigerator (Very rare
