A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...
 | WILD TURKEY Battle Hymn (Autographed gatefold sleeve
for the 1971 UK 10-track LP, with the back panel signed in blue biro by
the 1974 line-up; Bernie Marsden (guitar), Mick Dyche (guitar), Steve
Gurl (keyboard), Glenn Cornick (bass) & JeffJones (drums) (Jeff &
Glenn featuring on Battle Hymns). The sleeve & lyric inner are tape
reinforced at the edges, the vinyl included more as an after thought, as
their condition is quite poor, but the signatures are the rarity factor
here. The '74 line-up was very brief with Gurl & Marsden joining Babe
Ruth later that year CHR1002)

the green Chrysalis label with the Island 'i' logo at the top,
gatefold picture sleeve with lyric printed paper inner. The
cover is in remarkable shape but has an unfortunate stickertear in the top right corner, the result of a non laminated
finish - luckily the tear avoids the vital areas of the album
title & artwork & doesn't distract too much. The vinyl is super
clean & Excellent with very few signs of any play CHR1002)

pages from an autograph book that was part of an extensive
collection obtained by the wife of a former Assistant Tour
Manager for Eric Clapton. Well known and a personal friend of
many ofthe stars that she collected autographs from, she had
unprecedented access to backstage areas and VIP Events that
enabled her to amass a vast collection of autographs with
consequent impeccable provenance. These particular
autographs were obtained on 8th October 2006 and are nice
unhurried examples with each autograph on a separate page,
featuring the signatures of Gary Pickford-Hopkins, Clive
Bunker, Mick Dyche & Glenn Cornick)

Tracklisting: Signatures were obtained by Yuki Smythe-Park. For many years Yuki's husband Colin, was Eric Clapton's assistant tour manager, working on many of his 1980s concerts & tours. On August 26th 1990, Clapton played the Alpine Valley Music Theatre, Wisconsin, alongside Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Robert Cray and Buddy Guy. Following the show Colin Smythe, along with Clapton's agent Bobby Brooks, his bodyguard Nigel Browne and Stevie Ray Vaughan boarded a helicopter bound for Chicago. Tragically, the helicopter crashed shortly after take-off, killing all on board. Yuki was friends with many artists from that era and continued to attend gigs and fill her numerous autograph books. the rare lyric inner. The sturdy gatefold picture sleeve [VG+] shows a
spot of scuffing & minor bowing to a corner whilst the heavyweight
vinyl is in Excellent condition with few signs of play. Note: there is a
small pressing bubble on 'Sanctuary' causing the odd faint click on
rotation. A solid example at a fair price CHR1002)
