These copies were made in extremely small numbers for sonic review purposes only, and not to beissued to journalists or radio before the promotion stage. Stars the acclaimed alto saxophonist Namyslowski alongside Wlodzimierz [Wlodek] Gulgowski on piano, Tadeusz Wojcik bass and drummer Czeslaw Bartkowski. Recorded at London's Decca Studios, this is historically the first album by a Polish jazz musician outside of Poland. Opens with the marvellous original Pekna Lola, Kwiat Polnocy (Beautiful Lola, Flower Of The North) and closes with a lively version of Ol' Man River!
