CAPTAIN BEEFHEART & MAGIC BAND Safe As Milk (Rare 1970s French Buddah label issue of the 1967 12-track vinyl LP, housed in a unique front laminated colour 'Super Group Volume 8' picture sleeve depicting the the band on a beach with a sunny blue-sky, captured while they were attending the 1968 MIDEM Pop Festival - also of note is the miss spelling of the band name as 'Majic' instead of 'Magic'. The sleeve shows some light creasing and ringwear on the reverse, but is in otherwise excellent condition with no laminate lifting, intact edges and perfect pinched spineThe vinyl is an amazing near MINT with only a couple of barely discernible scuffs visible and pristine labels free from spindle wear! A distinctly different variant on this seminal album - almost impossible to find in this kind of condition!)
