ROLLING STONES Dirty Work + Harlem Shuffle 7" Metal Mother Master (Stunning Japanese competition prize from 1986, featuring a first press Japanese 10-track vinyl LP with the picture sleeve still in the opened translucent red shrink with both the circular obi sticker & illustrated hype sticker attached, complete with a fold-out lyric insert & an unused sheet of tongue logo stickers in four different sizes with CBS/Sony Inc logo credits & 'not for sale' text. Also includes promo flyer promoting books, a mini photo card, plus a metal mother master for the A-side of the Japanese Harlem Shuffle 7" release. There are usually no more than half a dozen metal masters made for any release, making this item extremely rare. PLATING

Plating refers to the process of making metal stampers from Lacquer. The Lacquers are silver coated and electroplated to make a negative image of the record in the 'male & female' sense, meaning the grooves in the plates are raised where the grooves in the records are etched.

Plating then involves making 'Mothers' from the stampers. 'Mothers' are a metal version of the finished record and are limited to less than a handful for any given release.
