JIMI HENDRIX Angel? (Incredible felt tip pen/crayon drawing by Jimi Hendrix from 1968 & given to his bassist Noel Redding during his time with the legendary Experience. The style of the drawing is a heavy colourised 'Angel' figure with body sectioned by triangular boxes, typically the execution is rough as the drawings were mostly performed during periods on tour buses or when waiting around off stage. Unusually it is initialled JMH [James Marshall Hendrix] & is dated 1968, Noel haswritten a short note on the reverse detailing the history of the item & confirms its 1968 date)**See More Info**

BACKGROUND
This is one of the final items from the collection of TEN drawings originally obtained direct from Noel in New York during June 1994 when he was selling large parts of his collection with several other pieces sold through major action houses over the last few years. Noel has written Angel on the reverse, presumably as that was the image that he most reminded of.
In addition they are signed by one of Noel's friends Eugene Mcfadden who was the Band Of Gypsies roadie/tour manager. These were drawn In leisure 'down' time where Jimi Hendrix could be found either playing guitar or drawing and painting more as relaxation than anything else. He was not precious over his self confessed 'doodles' and on many occasions threw his drawings away [though these were retrieved by members of his entourage from time to time - well wouldn't you??]
Sadly there is some evidence of creasing and minor damage [mostly visible on the reverse] which would NOT be visible when professionally framed!!
