PINK FLOYD A Nice Pair (1973 US withdrawn 18-track double LP, repackaging Piper At The Gates & Saucerful Of Secrets. This is the first Californian issue from December 8, 1973 on yellow & green Harvest labels with perimeter label print around the bottom starting at 8 o'clock. This LA pressing is identified via the etchings in the run-offs, which reads 'SABB-1-11257-F-3-- 1 2 Wly / SABB-2-11257-F-3- 2 Wly / SABB-3-11257-F-3- 1 Wly / SABB-4-11257-F-3-- 1 2 Wly', housed in the withdrawn 'Dr Phang' gatefold sleeve. The nudity on the sleeve caused quite a stir in the US & copies were recalled & redistributed soon after with stickers censoring the offending images. This cover is one of the rare pre-censored editions, complete with the inners which replicate the original album's artwork in tinted green & blue. The sleeve & vinyl are Excellent with minimal edge creasing or sign of play SABB-11257)
