Tracklisting & More Information

Bad Company played 2 nights at Earls Court in London, they were due to play a UK tour beginning April 25th 1976 with Paul Kossoff's band BackStreet Crawler in support however Paul died on March 19th 1976 on a flight to LA so the band were supported by Racing Cars and Metropolis in his place. Racing Cars were one hit wonders with They Shoot Horses Don't They? and Metropolis featured members of The Pretty Things, they were signed to Led Zeppelins' Swan Song label (as were Bad Co.) but didn't release any material.

The mirror measure 23" x 31" and features red and blue printed text on a traditional mirror background. The effect of this simple design is breath-taking.

The top of the mirror has 'Mel Bush in association with Peter Grant presents' text in blue, but the piece is dominated by the band name in large red 'Olde English' style script with guest artists Racing Cars and Metropolis underneath in blue (much smaller of course!)

A red banner with blue text below the support artists provides the venue details while at the bottom the ticket prices (a princely £1.50-£3.50!) and dates, Sat July 2nd and Sun July 3rd, both SOLD OUT are printed at the bottom.

With each of the acts promoted by Mel Bush, once a successful tour or concert had taken place, Mel would commission a commemorative plaque or mirror as a souvenir of the event. Usually these would be presented to the artist, with an additional one kept in his own personal archive.

Now semi-retired, Mel has decided to part with his treasured archive of mirrors and plaques and we have been enlisted to help him find good homes for his collection.

Despite the fact that this item is now 32 years old it is in perfect condition, with no discolouration or tarnishing, having been preserved in the Mel Bush archive in bubble wrap since it was commissioned.

**Due to the size, weight and fragility of this item we would request that potentional customers contact us directly by phone or email to discuss delivery/collection options**
