THE CAKE The Cake (Rare original 1967 UK MCA label 11-track MONO vinyl LP from this fantastic 60s girl group trio from New York, produced by Jack Nitzsche with killer arrangements from Harold Battiste [word also has it that Cher is a backing vocalist on a track or two]. The front laminate picture sleeve is in excellent condition let down only by some light laminate creases to the edges.The vinyl appears to be near mint with no traces around the spindle area whatsoever! From the vast personal archive collection of a former musicreviewer and journalist, this record has been locked away in storage for more than 30 years. Highly recommended MUP303)
