DAEVID ALLEN Banana Moon (Rare Original 1973 Japanese issue 8-track vinyl LP of the 1971 2nd solo album by Daevid Allen which was as with this copy initially pressed as a Gong album release, featuring Gong members Christian Tritsch and Pip Pyle with Soft Machine's Robert Wyatt and Spooky Tooth's Gary Wright also on the roster! Including 6 tracks written by Allen with one by Tritsch and another by ex-'Daevid Allen Trio' member Hugh Hopper. Housed in a fantastic hardcover gatefoldpicture sleeve with track-by-track back story liner notes on the inner-spread with a central picture of Daevid Allen and co complete with duffel coats and bananas! Complete with Japanese & English text lyric insert and 'BYG' logo obi-strip this copy is in astonishingly impressive condition for its age of well over 35 years revealing only very light discolouration to the lyric inner however boasting a pristine, immaculate condition sleeve and MINT vinyl!! - Stunning and original copy, scarce!
