SYD BARRETT The Madcap Laughs (1978 UK third issue 13-track LP on the green Harvest label with EMI perimeter text, originally released in 1970. Syd's debut solo album finally appeared two years after leaving Pink Floyd, with Dave Gilmour & Roger Waters producing. This is a brilliant but brittle album, with every strum of the electric guitar seeming to take its toll on Barrett's increasingly frayed nerve strings. The gatefold sleeve is front laminated & appears Excellent with just alittle edge ring wear. The vinyl appears Near Mint with few signs of play SHVL765)
