This copy is the third UK mono issue of the first Stones LP.

This issue has side one matrix number stamped XARL 6271-1A & side two matrix stamped XARL 6272-4A, confirming it plays the full 4:06 version of 'Tell Me'

The label is the Third variant of the First unboxed label design, estimated to have been used between late 1964 and mid 1965. The label lists the 'Reed' credit for 'Honest I Do' as well as listing 'I Need You Baby' instead of 'Mona'. With boxed 'Biem' & 'NCB' stacked to the mid - far left of centre hole and without 'recording first published 1964' text which has been replaced with '(P)1964'.

The sleeve is the third printing variant, with 'MONO' printed on the back & 'I Need You Baby' listed instead of 'Mona'.

Condition :-

The sleeve has lovely & clear laminate, with some light creasing from just faint evidence of ring wear after so many years. The back panel is nice & clear with just the most gentle amount of faint age wear. An Excellent example.

The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & grades a healthy EX/EX- with only the lightest evidence of play over the decades. A fantastic example that doesn't come much better. Although not mint, this is a highly respectable copy of this classic Rolling Stone LP.
