ROLLING STONES 19th Nervous Breakdown (Extremely rare Decca test pressing for the 1966 UK 7" single, made before the promotional demo copies were pressed. The labels are custom blue on WHITE with Decca's 'Demonstration Sample Not For Sale' lettering along the top, 'A' printed one side as well as a faint letter print for the artist & song title. There is also an historic '4 Feb' release date penned on the first side label as well as the proposed catalogue number. The b-side 'As Tears Go By' is annotated by hand on the label's second side. The four-prong centre is intact & the disc comes complete with its period die-cut Decca paper sleeve. The matrices are machine stamped thus: XDRF-37398-T1-4C / XDRF-36987-T1-1C. Very few of these would have been produced, mostly just for close associates of the group, & even fewer have ever hit the online market. The disc appears in fair to good condition but plays much better than its initial grade & with no jumps. There is visible wear to the grooves & paper scuffing but nothing raised or that can be felt. This would make the perfect filler in a serious Stone collection. Just try to find another one! F.12331)
