ANNA KING Back To Soul (Sister Soul 1964 UK 12-track stereo LP produced by the Godfather of all things funky, James Brown, on a rough textured black & silver label. Includes the album closer 'Baby, Baby, Baby' guest starring Bobby Byrd- the whole album is a belter & wow, what a voice! The pasted laminate picture sleeve is Excellent with merely the odd spot of minor paper wear by the bottom edge on the back. The vinyl grades Excellent with very little sign of play. We have professionally cleaned the disc as, with all Philips pressings of this age, it has been sat in a poly bag all its life. Consequently there is a little faint surface during playback due to the quiet pressing & reaction to the poly, the same for all copies of this marvellous record. Highly recommended nonetheless & very rare! BL7655)
