SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES Janet & The Icebergs - Brady's Liverpool (A genuine piece of punk/new wave history here. After the departure of original members John McKay & Kenny Morris were replaced with Budgie and the supremely talented guitarist John McGeoch for the recording of the 'Kaleidoscope' album, it was time to venture on the road to break in both the new material and band members! Rather than a full blown tour, a low key 3 date UK tour was set up under the pseudonym 'Janet and the Icebergs' with support band Altered Images taking in shows at Liverpool, Nottingham & Retford on consecutive nights in September 1980. Measuring 39" x 25" in size with vivid blue and white colours, this poster was taken from the walls of the venue on the night in question (Tuesday 9th September) and had been kept by the original owner ever since. Although showing a few creases, stains & sellotape marks on the edges from its years, with just one vertical fold down the middle, overall it's in great condition for an item that was made in tiny quantities at the time, so very few survive to come to market. A truly unique piece of original art for one of the UK's most innovative bands!)
