THE BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND East-West (1966 UK first press 9-track Mono LP on the rough textured orange Elektra label, US printed picture sleeve. Highly influential Electric Blues from the band that boasted Howlin Wolf's rhythm section, with all members recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. The album laid the roots of psychedelic acid rock, introduced modal guitar playing & the extended guitar solo & helped spark the West Coast's rock revolution... not bad going! Thesleeve [VG] has a 1" tear in the back opening but otherwise shows just minor edge wear, with no writing & all print legible. The vinyl grades EX/EX- with a deep sheen & a few minor paper hairline scuffs not affecting play EKL-315)
