This copy is the third UK mono issue of the first Stones LP.

This issue has side one matrix number stamped XARL 6271-1A & side two matrix stamped XARL 6272-4A.

The label is the Third variant of the First unboxed label design, estimated to have been used between late 1964 and mid 1965. The label lists the 'Reed' credit for 'Honest I Do' as well as listing 'I Need You Baby' instead of 'Mona'. With boxed 'Biem' & 'NCB' stacked to the mid - far left of centre hole and without 'recording first published 1964' text which has been replaced with '(P)1964'.

The sleeve is the third printing variant, with 'MONO' printed on the back & 'I Need You Baby' listed instead of 'Mona'.

Condition
The front laminated flipback picture sleeve has the usual spot of ring wear with the odd minor crease in the laminate forgiveable with age.The flipbacks secure & all text legible including along the spine.

The previous owner has written their name neatly on Side One, otherwise have no rips or paper loss.

The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & grades Excellent with only the odd faint paper scuff or hairline mark not affecting play. A superb one owner copy.
