Tracklisting & More Information

A: Whisky Man
B: Boris The Spider

As is the way with many Japanese pressings from this era there are a couple of obvious spelling anomalies. Both tracks are taken from their second album, A Quick One, where this track is titled The Whiskey Man (with an 'e' - the Irish spelling). This Japanese pressing uses the Scottish form, without the 'e', on the label and the picture sleeve. Additionally the song-writing is credited to Entwhistle, with an errant 'h'.

The vinyl record grades Near Mint on both sides. A really clean copy with a nice sheen to the playing surface, no scratches and barely a hairline in evidence.

The A side label is Near Mint. The B side label is Near Mint. No paper loss to either side. All print is clear and legible.

The flipback picture sleeve has a fabulous full colour image to the front. Colours remain bright and crisp, with no fade. The back is off-white, with titles and lyrics in Japanese. Minor foxing is evident but certainly not excessive. The rare one-sided paper insert has the lyrics translated and printed in English. This too shows minor foxing but nothing excessive. Both sleeve and lyric insert carry the date code TO 6707 (July 1967).

An exceptionally nice example of this extremely hard-to-find record.
