THE BO STREET RUNNERS Bo Street Runner (Scarce 1964 UK 7" vinyl single with an intact four prong centre. They gained prominence in the United Kingdom after winning the Ready Steady Win! competition, a contest designed to find 'the next Beatles', with a grand prize of £1,000 and a recording contract with Decca Records. This was the only release the band would record for Decca, includes the B-Side Tell Me, and went on to sell over 20,000 copies, but didn't chart very well, so the recordlabel sold their contract to Columbia Records in 1965. Housed in a Decca company die-cut paper sleeve, and the vinyl remains in a fantastic condition with minimal signs of play F.11986)
