HERBIE HANCOCK Fat Albert Rotunda (1974 US issue of the 1969 7-track stereo LP on the Burbank label with 'Van Gelder' stamp, Herbie's first venture into jazz-funk & exceptionally groovy at that! First written as a soundtrack to the Fat Albert cartoon show, half-way through this great record is the smooth jazz masterpiece, Tell Me A Bedtime Story, among Herbie's greatest compositions. The pasted picture sleeve [VG+] has a deletion saw-cut & shows a little faint corner wear & foxing, the vinyl is Excellent & shows few signs of play WS1834)
