LAZYCAME Saturday 14th (2000 UK original issue 13-track CD album. The second solo album from William Reid, the more misanthropic half of the now-defunct Jesus And Mary Chain, this was written & recorded in the death throes of both that band and the Creation label, hence the title 'Saturday 14th' of course being the day after Friday 13. Uncompromisingly messy, the album assaults us with wave after wave of heavily distorted vocal whines and moans, the occasional bluesymelody being backed then interrupted by snatches of acoustic strumming, picture sleeve!
