THE CHAMELEONS Live In London (Rare 2004 UK VDC Group promo DVD-R test sample disc. This one-hour set was filmed in 1984 at The Camden Palace Theatre, in London, for the Live From London TV series broadcast internationally in the 80s. The set features great camera work and sound – very modern for its age. The original 2.0 stereo sound has been upmixed to 5.1 Dolby Digital to make the most of DVD’s capabilities. Hailing from Manchester where they formed in 1981, The Chameleons (aka The Chameleons UK in North America) emerged through the BBC Sessions, then went on to work with legendary producer Steve Lillywhite. This led to a major recording contract, and the band’s first LP - Script Of The Bridge. Indie classics such as Don’t Fall and Second Skin come from this seminal album as indeed a number of the tracks featured in the concert.
