Tracklisting & More Information

An obi-strip is a paper band which goes round the album or fits across one side in some cases & means 'Sash' in Japanese. These are often discarded by purchasers or are damaged & so very few survive the passage of time on older LPs.

Shaped obis were very rare & also the most easily damaged - classic examples being the Apple 'Medallion' obi from 1970 & the 'Now' obi & the multicoloured 'Rock Age' obi from 1971.

The shaped 'Rock Age' obi-strip is one of the rarest to be found.

In Japan they have reached almost legendary status as so few have survived.
They are now nearly impossible to find.
When present, complete & in near mint condition, they represent almost all of the value of the pressing which they accompany - The record & sleeve are of almost negligable value, the obi being the prime reason for the value attached to this original record.

Needless to say, however, the vinyl & sleeve too are in near mint condition!
