THE GOLDEN CUPS The Golden Cups Album (2004 Japanese limited edition 24-bit remastered 13-track CD album, originally released in March '68; the Cups were one of the most popular groups to emerge from Japan in the 2nd half of the 60s, & were blessed with an English speaking guitarist, Kenneth Ito, as well as gifted musicians Eddy Ban [lead guitar, who also owned one of the first imported fuzzboxes!], & Masayoshi Kabe [bass] - this their 1st longplayer demonstrates their ability to cover Western pop & soul, as well as their own superb originals, presented in mini LP-style card sleeve + obi strip)
