BIG STAR 3rd (2006 US limited edition 14-track LP pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL; originally released in 1978, but recorded 4 years prior in 1974, this LP takes the original Big Star sound and abstracts it, with synthesizers, strings andsaxophones emerging from the mix. The album deals with bitterness, loneliness and emotional devastation, but does so in a way that retains some elements of pop music, includes a cover of the Velvet Underground's 'Femme Fatale' whichfeatures famed guitarist Steve Cropper, presented in sealed & stickered picture sleeve)
