TEGAN & SARA The Con (Official 2007 US 14-track advance promotional CD-R for the album release, co-produced with Death Cab For Cutie guitarist Chris Walla. 'The Con' finds the twins on captivating form throughout a set that focuses on angsty, literate lyrics married to infectious new wave pop. The single of the title track is a great example of their sound being punchy, insistent & immediate, with other highlights including the opener 'I Was Married', the addictive hook of 'Back In Your Head' and the pure melody of 'Hop A Plane'. The custom printed disc is complete with a custom picture sleeve and studio title/tracklisting back insert)
