THE LOLLIPOP SHOPPE Just Colour (2008 issue UK 14-track digitally remastered CD album - Originally known as The Weeds and featuring Fred 'Deep Soul' Cole, The Lollipop Shoppe sound amazingly modern! After they signed to UNI Records, their new manager insisted they change their name to The Lollipop Shoppe to fit in with the current trend of bizarrely named bubblegum groups. The band's actual recordings are hardly bubblegum, but instead a mix of crunching garage rockand wild psychedelia. 'Just Colour' includes the single 'You Must Be A Witch')
