ELLA FITZGERALD Ella In Hamburg '65 (Original 1965 UK black and silver Verve label 12-track heavyweight MONO vinyl LP, featuring Ella accompanied by the Tommy Flanagan Trio at the Musikhalle in Hamburg, Germany on 26th March 1965. Werner Burkhardt recounts the tale when the normally reserved John Lewis, leader of the Modern Jazz Quartet, was moved enough to tell how he "never heard her bad", a voice which remained as good as ever in the year of this release.Foldback laminated picture sleeve, with minor laminate lifting, in excellent condition, as is the vinyl!
