MOSE ALLISON TRIO Back Country Suite (1968 first UK issue of the 1957 15-track LP for Prestige, featuring the first recordings of the talented pianist alongside Taylor La Fargue on bass and Frank Isola on drums. Opens with the ten-part title track; boppish in style although influenced by the country blues tradition and adopting melodies from folk music. Front laminated flipback picture sleeve with original mark-up sticker intact, slight discolourationwith age, otherwise vinyl is near mint PR7091)
