SIGUR ROS Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust (Sealed 2008 UK Special Deluxe Edition 2-disc set comprising the 11-track CD with a Region 0 PAL DVD including two beautiful films directed by Nick Abrahams that document much of the recordingof their album & early touring. The second film is a documentary about the recording of the most ambitious piece of music Sigur Rós have undertaken. 'Ára bátur' was recorded live at Abbey Road by the band with a 69-piece orchestra & a 20-pieceboys choir, conducted by Icelandic maestro Daniel Bjarnasson. Also features the banned video to 'Gobbledigook', all presented in individually numbered deluxe packaging complete with a 196-page 12" x 9½" hardcover cloth-bound book of photographs shot by Eva Vermandel, mounted with a unique strip of 16mm film from the 'Gobbledigook' video shoot - still sealed in the custom stickered shrinkwrap!)
