BILLIE HOLIDAY The Unforgettable Lady Day (Fantastic rare original 1960 UK 11-track mono vinyl LP on the maroon & gold 'Nipper' HMV label with 'Factory Sample' sticker, featuring a session recorded in August 1956 with Harry Edison, Ben Webster, Barney Kessel, Jimmy Rowles, Joe Mondragon & Alvin Stoller, along with a session recorded in February 1955 with Charlie Shavers, Tony Scott, Budd Johnson, Billy Bauer, Carlton Drinkard, Leonard Gaskin & Cozy Cole, front laminated picture sleevewith sleeve notes by Benny Green. Both sleeve & vinyl are in wonderful condition, having been safely stored away in the archive of a former music reviewer for the last thirty years! CLP1414)
