A watershed career change in 1986 saw Bill move to jazz, and Summerfold Records was founded in 2004 to cater for his extensive catalogue of influential and imaginative collaborations. If you're unfamiliar with his work, key tracks such as 'My Heart Declares A Holiday', 'Stromboli Kicks', 'Kinship', 'From The Source We Tumble Headlong' and 'Baye Kene N'Diaye' will act as an excellent introduction to the jazz side of Bill Bruford, an enduring master-drummer and one of the most innovative players of his generation.)
