Includes 6 tracks by the original line up of John Dawson, David Nelson, Jerry Garcia, Mickey Hart and Phil Lesh recorded before the band signed to Columbia; plus live recordings captured at The Beacon Theatre and The Keystone in 1975 which feature the line up that also included Spencer Dryden [Jefferson Airplane] Skip Battin [Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers] and Buddy Cage)
