MICHEL LEGRAND Legrand Piano (Ultra-hip 1960 UK promotional 13-track mono LP on a custom printed label in 'rough' textured white, issued to journalists and radio ahead of actual release. The dynamic young maestro is captured here in his early jazz years backed by bassist Guy Pedersen, later to become a master of the groovy library disc, and Gus Wallez, tapping out a steady rhythm. Despite minor wear to the bottom edge, the front laminated flipback picture sleeve is otherwise immaculate - the vinyl looks unplayed! SBBL572)
