HORACE SILVER Blowin' The Blues Away (Rare original 1959 US 'West 63rd Street' Blue Note 7-track first STEREO issue deep-groove LP with 'RVG' machine-stamped in the run-out grooves, front laminated & back pasted picture sleeve. One of Horace Silver's best efforts released during a key year in jazz, recorded by Rudy Van Gelder and including the rip-roaring title tune. Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Eugene Taylor and Louis Hayes perform. The sleeve is virtually mint and the vinyl excellent- clean with no spindle wear and just one or two very light cosmetic marks which have little to no effect during play. Plays superbly and comes highly recommended! ST-84017)
