BIG STAR Feel (2009 US exclusive strictly limited edition 2-track 7" vinyl single, issued as part of 'Vinyl Saturday', a monthly celebration of all things vinyl from the people behind Record Store Day - this single offers a previously unissued early mix of 'Feel' [the opening track on the group's 1972 debut LP] with additional guitar and some different lyrics not heard in the final mix, also lacking the brass overdubs and some other production touches, in short a far more roughand ready presentation of this Bell/Chilton classic. The B-side, 'Mod Lang', was originally remixed by a well known British producer for a potential single release [augmenting the original recording with piano and additional percussion], but the group weren't satisfied with the results, and it's remained in the can since 1974, now exclusively unearthed for this release!) ** Limited to 3500 copies **
