MOODY BLUES The First Ten SHM-CD Albums (Superb set of TEN exclusive 2008 Japanese promo sample issues of the limited edition, digitally remastered SHM-CD albums [Super High Material CDs - playable on all CD players], comprising every album from 1967's 'Days Of Future Passed' to 1983's 'Present', with each disc including many bonus tracks. This set was issued to reviewers and radio stations ahead of release and each CD has 'sample' printed on the inner rim of disc. Each onehoused in a mini LP style card picture sleeve reproducing the original LP artwork & inner sleeve, fold-out Japanese/lyric insert, individually numbered label design insert, & 'Rock Legend Series' promotional stickered obi-strip - A fantastic collection UICY-93712/21)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
