BLIND FAITH Blind Faith (1969 US second issue white title label promotional sample 6-track MONO vinyl LP, issued exclusively for AM Radio Station use, picture sleeve with tracklisting on the reverse. This issue was made after the initial controversial nude girl sleeve was quickly withdrawn and it carries the 'B' suffix on the sleeve, although the pressing inside is the same. Tracklisting & More Information

The original controversial cover was quickly withdrawn in the US & the sleeve replaced with this group photo pasted sleeve. The sleeve carried the SD33-304B to denote this replacement.
The MONO release was only ever made available for promotional purposes & AM Radio Station use & was never released commercially in any form other than this.
As a consequence, there were no sleeves issued with 'Mono' printed upon them & they used the same 'Stereo' sleeve as the retail version, sometimes with a 'DJ Copy Monaural' sticker on the front.

Condition:

The sleeve itself is intact with no split seams or major defects. There is a degree of general wear visible but all text, including the spine, is clearly readable. There are a couple of areas of mild discolouration visible in places, mostly to the top left corner as viewed from the front, but nothing excessive.
To strictly grade the sleeve, it would be approximately VG/VG+, but actually is much better than that for 80% of its area !

The vinyl shows several light hairlines, a few light scuffs and a couple of light scratches that may cause the odd click, but thanks to the mono press, this effect is certainly minimised. Whilst obviously played, this copy still has the sonic fidelity you would expect & surface noise is kept to a minimum.
This would also be graded VG-/VG.

All in all a very acceptable, if not mint, copy of this extremly rare white label mono promo LP at a bargain price.
