BRITISH SEA POWER Valhalla Dancehall (2011 UK 13-track 2-LP set pressed on Heavyweight Vinyl - With its title 'Valhalla Dancehall' invokes a wild-eyed internationalism, alluding to both the Norse mythos and Jamaican discos – to the Viking heaven and Caribbean good times. British Sea Power are maybe unlikely to be taking up residence in downtown Kingston, but the album title and the music it comes with are antidotes to limited horizons and parochial mindsets. Includes 'Cleaning Out The Rooms' [previously appeared on the 'Zeus' EP]. Comes complete with a download coupon)
